Class Registration v3.0 - North Branch
AKC Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Testing (ended)
#: 414   ID:    Section: Session II
Description:
These test sessions are for dogs already trained to the required level. This is not a training class but a test to show off your dog's skill.

Passing the CGC means you can get a certificate from the AKC that states your dog is a Canine Good Citizen. Dogs who are eligible for AKC registration or PAL registration (which includes mixed breed dogs) can earn the title of Canine Good Citizen however AKC registration is not required in order to take and pass the test. Please see https://www.akc.org/products-services/training-programs/canine-good-citizen/ for more information about the program.

Trick dog testing is for those people whose dogs are ready to earn a Trick Dog title through the AKC. There are 5 skill levels available from Novice Trick Dog (TKN) to Trick Dog Performer Elite (TKE). Each level requires your dog to know 10 tricks chosen from a list. We will be testing Novice, Intermediate and Advanced dogs in these sessions. Please see https://www.akc.org/sports/trick-dog/ for more details including the trick requirements.
