Find out how you can be successful at raising your own crop of sweet potatoes in your garden. Dianne with Chisago County Master Gardner, has been successfully growing sweet potatoes in her home garden for the last ten years. You will learn basic planting and growing methods, sweet potato pests, and how to harvest and store your crop. You will also learn how to start your own sweet potato slips for next year's harvest. Dianne will bring sweet potato slips that she started at home for registered students to take home with them.
