Class Registration v3.0 - North Branch
Dine and Discover - Mindful Stress Management: Compassionate Care for Self and Others (ended)
#: 79   ID:    Section: In Person
Description:
"After you stop screaming, place the mask over your face before attempting to assist others." (A quote from and attendant on a Southwest Airline Flight in the event of loss of cabin pressure.) Since the winter of 2019 we have been "screaming" in a variety of explicit and implicit ways as the stresses of the pandemic have created our own loss of "cabin pressure".

This session will present a model for Compassionate Care for Self and Others that uses mindful stress management techniques to put us in a place where we can "hold" the significant others in our lives. Please come prepared to actively participate, try out some new strategies, and have some fun in the process.

This workshop is free please preregister. Deadline to register February 15, 2022.

He has taught a number of courses over the years, most relevant are: Stress Management; Mindfulness-Based Stress Management, and Aging Mastery. To date he has never been on a plane that has lost cabin pressure, but is certain that he would not scream before putting on his mask.
